Amrita Rao Unseen wet hot in South Cinema -
The film stars the 'Prince' of Telugu film industry, Mahesh Babu and Bollywood actress Amrita Rao, who is making her Telugu debut with 'Athidhi'.

In this interview, the actress Amrita Rao talks about the experience of working with Mahesh and how it feels to be his heroine.

I was approached by Padmalaya Studios. I had met Mahesh Babu's sister Manjula three years ago when she wanted me to do a Telugu movie. At that time it didn't really work out. Another offer came my way and I coincidentally happened to see Mahesh's Athadu because somebody was remaking it in Hindi and they wanted me to act in the Hindi version.

When I saw what a fantastic actor he was I wanted to work with him in Telugu. Then I was offered the role in Athidhi, and every thing fell into place. My role is of a vivacious girl. My intro scene (which I can't reveal) is one of the most creative and entertaining ones I have ever shot. I wish Bollywood gives me an intro scene like that.

Actress Bharathi who shot to fame with Parthiban’s Ammuvagiya Naan has decided to continue with her acting after her marriage. Recently the industry was abuzz about the secret marriage between Ammuvaaghiya Naan Bharathi, and her manager Murugan, who is also said to be a relative of hers. The couple is said to have secretively tied the knot on July 11 at a temple in Tiruverkaadu.
It was initially thought that she would bid adieu to acting once she tied the knot but she seems to have decided otherwise.
Bharathi’s portrayal of a sex worker who falls in love with Writer Parthiban won her rave reviews for the movie. After that she signed only a couple of movies in kollywood like Satrumun Kidaitha Thagaval and Nenjathai Killathey.

Three Office bearers of Kamal Hassan’s Narpani Iyakkam (Kamal Hassan Fan Club) have been dismissed.
The dismissed people include R Gunaseelan, who was the State Secretary of Kamal Haasan Narpani Iyakkam, D John the Secretary for South Madras and D Raju the Secretary of Namakkal district. In a press release that Kamal has issued yesterday 15th August, the above office bearers have been terminated from all responsibilities.
The Iyakkams acitivities will continue un-interrupted and the members were asked to carry on their duties, till new executives are appointed.

Nayanatara was charging about Rs 60 lakhs - Rs 1 crores per film till last year. Following the stupendous success of Billa and now Kuselan, she is now reportedly asking for anywhere between 1. 5 and 1. 7 crores per film. In line with the inflation she has also raised remuneration.
Nayan is grateful to do item song who did not want to pay her the whoping amount(1.5crores) for less money. Ofcourse Nayan is charging less compared to Aishwaria Rai charging for Rajini’s Robot.
