Silambarasan has gone for the famous Billa look for the climax of his new film Silambattam, an action thriller.
Simbu is in Pollachi wrapping up the shoot of the film where the climax is being shot by director Saravanan for producers Lakshmi Movie Makers Limited. The cast includes Sana Khan, Mano Bala and Kishore. In many of his films like Manmadhan and Kaalai, Simbu made it a point to eulogise his favourite hero Ajit by showing off the actor’s cut-outs or mouthing his famous punchlines.
In the final confrontation scenes of Silambattam (the villain being Kishore of Polladhavan fame), Simbu comes in Ajit’s Billa look, donning the same suit that the ‘ultimate star’ wore! Simbu had agreed to wear it after alterations were made by Anu Vardhan, the costume designer of Billa.
Simbu feels that this scene will be one of the major highlights in the climax which will be lapped up by his and Ajit’s fans. This scene will have the Billa background score created once again by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is also the music director of Silambattam. Source: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com

Superstar Rajinikanth appears for a few minutes in Kuselan but in the movie’s posters and promotion he looms large.
That’s because a Rajinikanth appearance even for a minute can set the box office on fire and so the makers of Kuselan are all set to cash in on the superstar. Rajinikanth says the hype is making him nervous and people shouldn’t call it as his film because he is playing a cameo role.
“There’s already a lot of hype about the movie. I’m very nervous with everyone expecting it to run to a silver jubilee,” he says.
For the film’s makers though a bit of Rajinikanth is quite a lot. Distributors have sold Kuselan as a ‘Rajinikanth film’ for Rs 64 crore—that is more than what the superstar’s movie Sivaji was sold at.
“Today Rajnikanth’s market is such that even if he comes for one scene or two in a film he will still be the superstar,” says P Vasu, director of Kuselan. Source: ibnlive.com
